The LEGO Store Leeds will be celebrating its 10th birthday in style

One of the oldest LEGO Stores in the UK will be celebrating its 10th birthday this month, with the Leeds location planning a suitably big party.

There are currently 18 LEGO retail stores located within the UK, from small shops right up to the flagship Leicester Square branch. Although nowhere near the largest, the LEGO Store Leeds is one of the oldest in the country, having opened up way back in 2013. Now the location is planning to celebrate its 10th birthday with an in-store event due to take place this month.

Visitors to the LEGO Store Leeds will be able to join in all the fun and games, from 9am to 8pm on March 18 and on March 19 from 11am to 5pm. The first 250 people through the door on each day can pick up a free LEGO party bag, while stocks last on a first come, first served basis. There will also be the chance to make a LEGO Cake mini build and then take the free model home with you.

In addition, there’ll be an opportunity to meet a life-sized LEGO character, help staff decorate a LEGO birthday cake, take part in a fun treasure hunt and get your face painted (adults too). If you do manage to make it to the LEGO Store Leeds on either of those dates, you can also pick up a new free LEGO Passport and start collecting themed stamps from the location and other LEGO Stores.
