The next free LEGO workshop is all about gaming
A new free LEGO workshop event has been announced for the UK and Ireland, inviting young enthusiasts to build models based on gaming.
The LEGO Group’s Play Unstoppable campaign continues next month with two LEGO workshops to attend in participating LEGO stores. The gaming-centric workshops are part of the video game-focused campaign and fans aged between six and 12 years old are being invited to build their gaming avatar and a world for them to play in.
These will take place on October 13 and 20 in participating LEGO stores and while most should be taking part, we recommend checking the webpage for your local store before heading out. Whether or not the models will be available to take home has not been confirmed but usually, these events offer a gift to take away.
A time for the workshops has not been confirmed either, though you can expect it to take place in the early afternoon based on previous events. Given that these workshops will come after the launch of the LEGO Fortnite sets, there are likely to be quite a few outfits recreated by participants.
You can sign up for the workshop by clicking here but slots will likely fill up fast when they open. At the time of writing, booking does not seem to be available for these dates but this should change soon. You can find out more by clicking here.
