Three LEGO Disney Wish sets now rumoured for 2023
A total of three LEGO Disney sets based on the upcoming animated movie Wish are now said to be on the way later this year, topping out at a $100 castle.
While nothing is likely to beat this summer’s 43222 Disney Castle in the realm of fantasy fortresses, a more affordable Disney castle is still said to be on the way – and the previously-rumoured 43224 is now said to tie into Wish, an animated film inspired by (and in celebration of) Disney’s 100th anniversary in 2023. That’s according to Instagram user 1414falconfan (via lego_minecraft_goat), who reports that a total of three Wish sets are in the works.
Those range in price from $20 to $100, and will reportedly all include mini-dolls, following in the footsteps of Disney and Disney Princess sets before them. Check out all the rumoured details on each of these three sets below.
43223 Asha and the Kingdom of Rosas

The smallest and cheapest LEGO Disney Wish set is thought to include a two-storey market building – complete with stairs and a balcony – and a ‘flag-draped cart’. 43223 Asha and the Kingdom of Rosas will apparently come with just one mini-doll of Wish’s main character Asha, alongside Valentino and Star figures. According to the movie’s synopsis, Star is an actual star that falls from the sky to grant Asha wishes, while Valentino is a pet goat who gains the ability to talk. Wait… did someone say LEGO goat?
43224 King Magnifico’s Castle
Price: £TBC / $99.99 / €TBC Pieces: 613 Release date: TBC
The headline set of the Wish wave is slated to depict the castle of King Magnifico, who’s voiced by Chris Pine in the movie, and looks to be its primary antagonist. An entire castle devoted to a villain isn’t something we see often in LEGO Disney sets, so this 28cm-tall four-storey set could be pretty novel. Details in 43224 King Magnifico’s Castle are set to include a book of magic, an altar and a removable translucent roof, while the mini-doll line-up is said to consist of Asha, Dahlia, King Magnifico and a Star figure.
43231 Asha’s Cottage
Price: £TBC / $49.99 / €TBC Pieces: 509 Release date: TBC
Coming in at roughly 100 fewer pieces than the castle for half the price, 43231 Asha’s Cottage is rumoured to depict the protagonist’s ‘round two-storey cottage’, which packs in a kitchen, bedroom, wish fountain and all manner of accessories. Mini-dolls include Asha, her mother Jakina, Grandpa Sabino and a Star figure. All three LEGO Disney Wish sets can supposedly be combined, though to what degree remains to be seen.
Wish is currently scheduled to debut in cinemas on November 22, 2023. A previous rumour pegged 43231 as launching on October 1, 2023, so all three of these sets could well arrive at the same time. For now, take these details lightly: they’re still just rumours until confirmed by the LEGO Group.
