Three new LEGO Star Wars 2023 sets revealed – Ahsoka, Chewbacca

The LEGO Group has unveiled three new LEGO Star Wars sets for San Diego Comic-Con 2023, including a buildable Chewbacca and two more products based on Star Wars: Ahsoka.

75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter join 75357 Ghost & Phantom II in celebrating the latest Disney+ Star Wars series, which arrives on the streaming service on August 23. Between these three sets, we’ve now got a stacked cast of minifigures – and, somehow, no repeat characters. If you want Ahsoka, there’s only one set to aim for…

75371 Chewbacca, meanwhile, is a 2,319-piece buildable statue of everyone’s favourite Wookiee, which is sure to prove as polarising among the LEGO Star Wars community as last year’s 76215 Black Panther did among the LEGO Marvel community. Check out more on all three of these sets below, revealed in conjunction with SDCC 2023, which takes place from July 20 to 23.

75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle

Price: £64.99 / $79.99 / €74.99 Pieces: 599 Minifigures: 4 Release date: September 1, 2023 Available: Pre-order now

75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle is the first LEGO interpretation of this vehicle since 2011’s 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle, albeit with an entirely different colour scheme this time round. Recreating the ship featured heavily in the trailers for Star Wars: Ahsoka, the 599-piece dark red and grey shuttle includes Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren (complete with lightsaber and helmet!), Professor Huyang and the show’s mysterious new Inquisitor Marrok.

75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter

Price: £94.99 / $109.99 / €104.99 Pieces: 1,056 Minifigures: 5 Release date: September 1, 2023 Available: Pre-order now

The LEGO Group has taken the first possible opportunity to give us an official E-wing, as Lucasfilm brings the Legends ship firmly into canon in Star Wars: Ahsoka. The blue and white fighter is paired in 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter with the ship first glimpsed on 75357 Ghost & Phantom II’s box art, and includes five minifigures: Morgan Elsbeth, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, Captain Porter and a New Republic astromech droid in unique colours.

75371 Chewbacca

Price: £179.99 / $209.99 / €199.99 Pieces: 2,319 Minifigures: 1 Release date: September 1, 2023

Joining previous buildable characters like 75255 Yoda and 75318 The Child, 75371 Chewbacca is the biggest (and certainly the tallest) LEGO Star Wars statue in recent memory. The Wookiee measures 46cm tall, and stands on a brick-built black display base, accompanied by a UCS-style info plaque and Chewbacca minifigure. It’s the latest LEGO Star Wars set designed to mark the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
