Tomodachi Life joins LEGO Ideas review just in time
New updates to the LEGO Ideas first 2025 review include a well-timed submission inspired by a Nintendo game, and more Supernatural.
A packed LEGO Ideas review round has only grown bigger today with the addition of two more projects that have reached 10,000 supporters. We’ve got all the details regarding these two submissions, adding them to our growing list of every LEGO Ideas project in the first 2025 review.
From another proposal for LEGO Supernatural to a niche Nintendo game, here’s your latest LEGO Ideas review update.
Tomodachi Life Essentials
Of all the video games to inspire submissions in a LEGO Ideas review round, Tomodachi Life wasn’t on our shortlist. The submission by SpinyRat depicts the apartment building from the first game alongside a fountain and the town hall.
It’s based on the titular Nintendo game, where you interact with custom-made Miis going about their daily lives. The user has even included icons for Miis you can interact with on the windows of the apartment building. The timing of this project reaching 10,000 supporters is ideal, as a sequel to the game is launching next month. For now, it joins the first 2025 review round and has a chance at becoming a real set.
Journal of John Winchester
The other LEGO Ideas project to reach 10,000 supporters since our last update is another Supernatural pitch. This one comes from SamSamSamy and uses 450 pieces to recreate John Winchester’s journal from the series.
The journal is only filled with four pages, otherwise featuring minifigures of the Winchester brothers, the Supernatural symbol and a small library in what is intended to be a display-centric set.
This pair of projects join the first 2026 review, which now spans 62 submissions.
