Two brand new LEGO Minecraft sets have just launched

It’s been seven years since the release of the first LEGO Minecraft dungeon set, but the updated 21189 The Skeleton Dungeon is finally here.

Today, August 1, 2022, a host of new LEGO models have launched on the official online store including two for LEGO Minecraft. First announced at LEGO CON 2022, 21189 The Skeleton Dungeon and 21190 The Abandoned Village are now available.

Those familiar with the game will likely recognise many of the new features in 21189 The Skeleton Dungeon from the release of the game’s most recent updates including dripstone and dripleaf. An exclusive minifigure adds to the value of the build, which may be appealing to new and old LEGO Minecraft enthusiasts.

For those who have been with LEGO Minecraft since the early days of the theme, the original dungeon model – 21119 The Dungeon from 2015 – was spawning zombies rather than skeletons, allowing you to add a different type of dungeon to your world while comparing it to the seven-year-old creation.

To anyone who is new to LEGO Minecraft, the option to integrate a dungeon into your display is bolstered by the variety of environments represents in this small space, including a lush cave and dripstone caverns.

The following LEGO Minecraft models are available today:
