LEGO Minecraft will mark its 12th year on shelves with at least two new blocky video game sets, as revealed by an online retailer.
The long-running theme first debuted in 2013, and will still be merrily chugging along in 2024 with – at minimum – two more sets. Additional models are rumoured to be joining these, but so far German retailer JB Spielwaren has only published images of a pair of brand new LEGO Minecraft products. Both of these are relatively inexpensive models, coming in at €19.99 apiece in Europe.
You can check out all the details on these two new 2024 sets – or at least those revealed so far – below. If Minecraft isn’t your regular wheelhouse, JB Spielwaren has also shared images of new Jurassic World, Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog sets coming in 2024.
21252 The Armory
Price: €19.99 Pieces: 203 Release date: January 1, 2024
Coming in at 203 pieces for €19.99, 21252 The Armory includes two minifigures, three separate builds and a treasure chest full of goodies. There’s plenty of weaponry – it is an armoury, after all – but particular highlights include a gold helmet, multiple chest plates and even a portal.
21253 The Animal Sanctuary
Price: €19.99 Pieces: 206 Release date: January 1, 2024
Retailing for the same price but with three pieces more, 21253 The Animal Sanctuary offers another bite-sized slice of LEGO Minecraft. There’s plenty of bang for your buck here too, including a minifigure, microfigure, five animals and two fairly substantial builds. Hard to argue with that for the price tag.
