Two new space-themed LEGO Store Exclusive sets officially revealed

Two new listings reveal that more space-themed LEGO sets are on their way soon, including a female astronaut and various quirky green alien creatures.

Also emblazoned with the grey Classic Space banner, these two newly revealed sets offer a chance to expand any space exploration displays you might be working on. 40715 Alien Pack and 40716 Alien Planet Habitat both appear to be LEGO Store Exclusives, coming soon on May 1, 2024 and priced at £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 each. They are similar in size, with 40715 Alien Pack at 181 pieces and 40716 Alien Planet Habitat at 206 pieces.

It doesn’t seem like the LEGO Group is slowing down its wave after wave of space-focused sets, in line with an expanding multi-theme line-up spotted in a recent banner at the London Toy Fair. Here’s a closer look at the two most recent additions to the space collection.

40715 Alien Pack

Price: £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 Pieces: 181 Release date: May 1, 2024

40715 Alien Pack includes one minifigure and six unique alien creatures that seemingly incorporate unusual plants and other elements into their bodies. The various different printed eye elements mark them out as aliens, found only by exploration by the female astronaut on her brick-built space buggy. The listing promises new face and eye elements for the aliens, as well as scenery decorated with what appear to be recoloured ferns and translucent crystals.

40716 Alien Planet Habitat

Price: £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 Pieces: 206 Release date: May 1, 2024

40716 Alien Planet Habitat leans into the brick-built scenery, providing just three alien creatures and no minifigures but two buildable habitats. There are lavender botanical elements and tree leaves, alongside what might be pink translucent ferns and various colours of flowers and other alien plants.

Both 40715 Alien Pack and 40716 Alien Planet Habitat will be available to buy from May 1 for £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99.
