We may have to wait a while for a LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka Chimaera set

Rumours for a late LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka Season 1 set and a recent announcement suggest that we might be waiting a while for a certain model.

The latest batch of LEGO Star Wars rumours include a late Ahsoka set following the end of the series’ first season. Season 1 officially has three sets – 75357 Ghost & Phantom II, 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle – and a new rumour from 1414falconfan posits that one more could be coming in August. Be aware that this article features spoilers for the first season of Ahsoka.

75385 Battle on Peridea is believed to be $40 to $50 for 382 pieces and includes minifigures of Ahsoka in her white outfit, Ezra, Thrawn, Enoch and Morgan with a new face print. Only Ahsoka and Morgan have featured in a set previously, but both are said to have new features in 75385 Battle on Peridea. We’d also note that many of these characters could be considered spoilers for those who haven’t watched the first season yet.

Based on this rumour, it appears that the LEGO Star Wars designers are taking some lessons from LEGO Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home sets which saw the minifigure-centric 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle release after the movie and feature spoiler-heavy characters.

While this could open the door for more Ahsoka Season 1 sets in the future, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the design team hold off following the announcement of Ahsoka Season 2 this week. Judging by that cliffhanger, the Chimaera could return in the second season and would make another good pick for a new Ahsoka set.

Provided the rumours are accurate, that might mean we’ll be waiting a while for a brick-built Chimaera, should one be on the cards at all. There’s little doubt that it would be a great option for a leading set in a second (or third) round of Ahsoka sets though.

Looking at the rumoured character selection in 75385 Battle on Peridea, it seems to be an outstanding line-up, not only offering Thrawn who fetches a high price on the secondary market, but the likes of Enoch and Ezra appealing to fans of Star Wars Rebels and Ahsoka alike. It sounds like a dream and, as with all rumours, there’s always a possibility that it’s too good to be true. Take the reported details with caution until more is revealed.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
