WATCH: These new LEGO flowers are secretly full of pirate gear
The two new LEGO Botanical Collection sets aren’t just for show: they’re also jam-packed with enough gear to equip an entire pirate crew.
Ever since 10281 Bonsai Tree offered an amphibious alternate build by decorating its pink leaves with dozens of tiny frogs, the LEGO Botanical Collection has earned a reputation for fabulous part usage and groovy recolours. The two new sets officially unveiled today – 10313 Wildflower Bouquet and 10314 Dried Flower Centrepiece – are no exception, each offering new and inventive uses for existing pieces.
If you want to see a couple of especially swashbuckling ways the designers have incorporated bold recolours of unusual parts, check out our latest YouTube video, which picks out a couple of ways in which these two sets are secretly packed with pirate gear.
