WATCH: LEGO Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi needs better printing

There’s a new LEGO Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigure in town, but something’s seriously wrong with his robes.

Not one, not two, but three new versions of Obi-Wan Kenobi are about to arrive on shelves in the LEGO Star Wars summer 2022 wave, and we’ve already got our hands on them all for our early reviews of 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter, 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader, and 75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe.

And while they’re all very detailed, featuring new prints and even a new hairpiece – better reflective of the Jedi Master’s appearance in his Disney+ limited series – there’s a pretty big flaw with one of them. Or at least there is in the minifigure that turned up in our copy of 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader, a playset that recreates the showdown between Jedi and Sith in Part III of the TV show.

To find out what that flaw is, check out our latest short on YouTube by hitting play on the video below, or heading over to our YouTube channel. While you’re there, don’t forget to subscribe for more LEGO reviews, news and insights.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
