What to expect from LEGO BrickLink Series 7 set reveal
Tomorrow will see the reveal of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 finalists through a livestream, and here’s what you can expect.
The second LEGO BrickLink Designer Program reveal livestream takes place tomorrow, and this time, the Series 7 models will be unveiled. The livestream takes place at 7pm UTC / 12pm PT, and you can see exactly when the event takes place in your time zone by clicking on the video below.
Since it’s only the second time that the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program finalists have been revealed this way, here’s what you can expect from tomorrow’s highly-anticipated livestream, based on the Series 6 event.
How long will the reveal livestream last?
Tomorrow’s livestream will likely last just over an hour, with a segment dedicated to each of the finalists. We won’t see the final set designs tomorrow as there will still need to be a period of transformation to take them from fan design to official LEGO model. There’s likely to be discussions with each or most of the fan designers, though.
The finalists are unlikely to all be revealed at the start of the livestream at the same time as we’re used to with the first five series of the program, but are likely to be unveiled one by one throughout the lengthy livestream.
How many LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets will be announced?

As with every round of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program, five designs will be unveiled tomorrow. Unlike LEGO Ideas review rounds, the team have never decided to include a bonus build or keep considering one model past the end of the round.
Expect the final decisions to have already been made and see which five designs have been picked for future sets tomorrow, all balanced in size and contents, but one specific subject matter is more likely than others.
What’s likely to be picked for the five sets?

After the astounding success of the two LEGO Castle creations in Series 4 of the BrickLink Designer Program, medieval models might be more likely to be picked as finalists in future series of the program, but various rounds have gone without Castle builds entirely.
Both the second and fifth series did not include any LEGO Castle creations, and based on this pattern, at least one Medieval model is likely to be revealed tomorrow with a break for Series 8. Otherwise, they should be sufficiently varied and may cover anything from buildings to pirates to vehicles and more.
