Where is LEGO MASTERS UK?

LEGO MASTERS is not appearing in the UK television listings this December, which means 2019 will pass with no return for the building contest show.

December has arrived to close out 2019 and lead into 2020 – but the year has passed without a new series of LEGO MASTERS for UK viewers. The series took Australia by storm when it arrived there this year, with Will Arnett recently announced as the host of the US edition that will air next year.

LEGO MASTERS launched in the UK in 2017 on Channel 4, produced by Tuesday’s Child. LEGO Vice President of Design Matthew Ashton judged the contestants’ creations while Melvin Odoom served as the energetic host. Series 2 followed in 2018 with new judge Fran Scott joining the series, again following a format that saw children and adults compete in a friendly, Great British Bake Off type format.

While the series is being exported around the world thanks to Endemol Shine Group aquiring the rights to distribute the series globally, fans in the UK will be hoping that it returns in 2020 given that it is where the brick-building contest won the hearts of viewers every week.
