Which Cassian Andor will be in LEGO Star Wars 75399 U-Wing?

A familiar issue has resurfaced on one of the new LEGO Star Wars May the 4th sets with two different Cassian Andor minifigures in official images.

75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter, 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion and 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust all have something in common – incorrect minifigures in official images.

The LEGO Group has once again depicted two different minifigures for the same set in official images. 75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter was revealed earlier today with a suite of official images on the official online LEGO store. The only problem is that there are two different Cassian Andor minifigures.

The Cassian Andor shown in the lifestyle (shot in real life on a desk) images has a longer hair element and brown arms. Meanwhile, the Cassian Andor on the box art and digital renders has short hair and dark grey arms. The only question remaining is which one will be in the physical set next month.

It’s not the first time that the LEGO Group has featured the wrong minifigure in official images. Gambit from 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion was depicted with a different hair piece in lifestyle images, but actually came with the newer BTS hair when the set was released.

Iron Spider-Man from the new 76326 Iron Spider-Man Bust featured the same minifigure as 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle, but the LEGO Group has since updated the listing with a Spider-Man minifigure featuring exclusive arm printing.

Unfortunately, neither example helps us to figure out which Cassian Andor is going to be in the upcoming 75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter. There are two weeks until we know 100% for sure (although it’s now clear that it’s the short-haired one), and we’ll have to see whether the LEGO Group updates the official images to reveal the answer early.

75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter will be available from May 1. Multiple gifts-with-purchase are launching then too, and you can start planning your May the 4th 2025 purchases accordingly now by clicking here.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
