Winnie the Pooh rumoured to return to LEGO DUPLO in 2025
Winnie the Pooh is rumoured to be coming back to LEGO DUPLO next year following a brief outing in an 18+ set in 2021.
Winnie the Pooh is rumoured to be coming back to the world of LEGO DUPLO for this third outing in the system and after a brief cameo in LEGO Ideas starting in 2021. Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat reports via their Instagram story that 10457 Winnie the Pooh’s Birthday Party is coming next year with 22 pieces for $19.99. No release date is rumoured just yet.
Based on the piece count, the price and the image used in the background of their post, this appears to be more LEGO DUPLO Winnie the Pooh representation. It’s still only a rumour at the time of writing and should be taken with caution. While the original Winnie the Pooh stories are now public domain, it seems likely that the LEGO Group would license the red-shirted bear from Disney as they have done in the past.

The rumour that the set will be a birthday party build makes more sense than you might expect. According to the New York Public Library, Pooh first appeared in the London Evening News on Christmas Eve in 1925, making 2025 the 100th year anniversary of the character.
This probably won’t be acknowledged in sets licensed from Disney as that version of the character started in 1966. At the time of writing, this is the only LEGO DUPLO Winnie the Pooh set rumoured for 2025 but it seems unlikely to be the last. Whenever the character has appeared in DUPLO, it has always been in multiple sets with various other characters from the franchise.
Still, you should always take LEGO rumours with caution as details or entire sets may be inaccurate. Set expectations accordingly while we await further details on the 2025 selection officially from the LEGO Group.
