Wrap your Valentine’s Day gifts in style with new LEGO Insiders rewards
A fresh batch of LEGO Insiders rewards has dropped for Valentine’s Day, from art prints to exclusive gift wrap.
So, you’ve bought your LEGO flowers (perhaps at a discount) and are now ready to convert your significant other into a fully-fledged AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) on Valentine’s Day. The only thing left to do is wrap them. If you have enough Insiders points going spare, the LEGO Group has you covered there, too.
A quartet of LEGO Insiders rewards themed around V-Day are now available in the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre, spanning two art prints, a blueprint and exclusive gift wrap. The latter is probably going to be the biggest draw, themed as it is to the LEGO Botanical Collection – perfect for giving away what’s inside the package before it’s even been unwrapped. (Did the Insiders team think this one through?)
The gift wrap costs 850 Insiders points in the UK, or just over the amount required to redeem a £5 discount voucher, so you can attribute that as a rough value. Those points will get you a single sheet measuring 100cm x 70cm. That’s enough to wrap one, maybe two Botanical Collection sets (at a push). But if you’re looking for that last little flourish for your Valentine’s Day gift, you could do worse.
The prints, meanwhile, all require 650 points each to redeem. The blueprint includes every Botanical Collection set so far, while the art prints match up with 10280 Flower Bouquet and 10313 Wildflower Bouquet – perhaps the two sets in the range that marry most closely with traditional Valentine’s Day gifts.
You’ve only got until February 14 to redeem the gift wrap, but there are no end dates on the prints, so they’re presumably available while stock lasts. When you redeem a reward in the Insiders Rewards Centre, you’ll receive a code that you can add to any LEGO.com order within the next 60 days to claim your reward. You can only use one code per order, so you’ll need to place multiple orders if you want multiple rewards.
There’s at least one good reason to place an order now, though: 40679 Love Gift Box is still available until February 14 with orders above £70 / $75 / €75.
