You don’t need to buy every LEGO Avatar set for the minifigures

With the recent reveal of the LEGO Avatar: The Way of Water sets, a few of the first Avatar models aren’t necessary for getting all the characters.

Avatar: The Way of Water is launching later this year in cinemas worldwide and the LEGO Group has a range of sets ready to join the initial LEGO Avatar wave. With the sequel featuring some of the same characters, there are a few minifigures that carry over to the upcoming wave.

Jake Sully, Neytiri and (to an extent) Quaritch all appear in the sequel and so, they have updated minifigures in the LEGO Avatar: The Way of Water sets. As long as you don’t mind different designs and forms, that means you don’t need to pick up four LEGO Avatar sets to add all the characters to your collection.

Here’s a quick guide to which models each of the three characters appear in, including in what form their minifigure comes where applicable:

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
