40 years of milestones for the LEGO minifigure

As part of the 40 years of the LEGO minifigure celebration, the LEGO Group has shared an infographic about the little brick populace.

Following the LEGO minifigure fun facts earlier today, the LEGO Group has also supplied a nice infographic which looks at the 40 year history of the iconic smiling little people.

Milestones mentioned on the timeline include the first minifigure wearing a dress being introduced in 1990, the first double sided heads being used in 2001 and the launch of the Collectible Minifigures line in 2010.
