40366 LEGO House Dinosaurs available now at LEGO.com

The LEGO House-exclusive 2019 set 40366 LEGO House Dinosaurs is now available to purchase online – but only in select regions.

You’ll need to be based in the UK, Ireland or Denmark to be able to buy the 865-piece set, which recreates the three enormous dinosaurs located in the LEGO House’s Masterpiece Gallery. While those builds are constructed from System, DUPLO and Technic respectively, 40366 LEGO House Dinosaurs uses predominantly System bricks to replicate them at a much smaller scale.

According to the LEGO Group, the set is only available in three different territories because its packaging and instructions don’t meet the legal requirements to be sold elsewhere. This isn’t the first time 40366 LEGO House Dinosaurs has been available through LEGO.com: in 2020, when the LEGO House was closed due to coronavirus, it was one of three exclusive sets temporarily sold online.

Even then, though, the same geographical restrictions were in place, preventing anyone from wider Europe, the Americas or anywhere else in the world from taking advantage. If you’re keen on picking up a copy beyond the UK, Ireland or Denmark, your best option is still turning to secondary market channels like BrickLink or eBay.

For LEGO fans in those three countries, 40366 LEGO House Dinosaurs is available to buy now for £74.99 / €85 / 749 DKK. There’s no telling how long it will remain in stock – it seems likely that the LEGO Group is selling it online to shift through remaining copies, making room for whatever might follow in 2023 – but remember that 40562 Mystic Witch is still available with orders above £100 / €100 until October 31 (or while stocks last).

You’ll need to top your basket up to reach that threshold, but there’s plenty available elsewhere to help get you there.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
