The long-rumoured LEGO Star Wars 40658 Holiday Special Diorama has had more details reported, including a familiar ship.
The seasonal LEGO Star Wars diorama that has been rumoured for some time is now reported to be named 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama. As stated by brick_clicker on Instagram, the rumoured set is said to include minifigures of Rey, Finn, Chewbacca and BB-8 wearing festive jumpers. It's believed to cost $40, though the exact pricing is not known, and to not be a promotional set. October 1, 2023, is claimed to be the release date.
That's a similar cast to what we saw in the Disney+ LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special released in 2020. That could mean this reported diorama is three years out of sync with the special, but it's better than late never to get more models based on it other than 75279 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.
The name of the rumoured model suggests that it could include a portion of the Millennium Falcon, perhaps an interior space as we saw in the holiday special. It's worth noting that Rey, Finn, BB-8 and Chewbacca never wore holiday jumpers in the special, only Poe in the resistance was feeling festive enough to wear one.
The LEGO Group has not confirmed any of these LEGO Star Wars rumours and they should be taken with caution.
