All aboard, LEGO Ideas 21344 The Orient Express Train is out now

LEGO Ideas 21344 The Orient Express Train has pulled into your local LEGO store and on the official online store as the newest set in the theme.

It’s time to head to your nearest LEGO store or log into LEGO.com to grab the latest LEGO Ideas model – 21344 The Orient Express Train. The 52nd entry into the fan-inspired theme is based on the original submission by Thomas Lajon, which has finally entered the final stop on its journey that started when it reached 10,000 supporters on the platform.

Featuring 2,540 pieces, LEGO Ideas 21344 The Orient Express Train depicts a 116cm-long train model with two carriages for passengers to travel in style. That sense of luxury is present throughout its interior, from the furnishing to the wall fittings and everything between them.

In the dining car, a counter with an intricate work of art on the wall has a variety of beverages being served to the two tables that look out onto the landscape zipping by. In the sleeper car, a pair of living quarters include a toilet, board games, beds and more for the passengers to rest up ready for another day of luxury.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
