Though the recent double LEGO Insiders points event ended two days ago, one set has already revived the promotion for early July.
LEGO Insiders points are typically worth the equivalent of 5% cashback to spend on future LEGO.com purchases. During a double points promotion, that effectively increases to 10% back in rewards.
The only set currently back on double points is 11378 Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner, a 1,903-piece model that launched on April 1.
The set includes four minifigures and retails for £199.99 / $219.99 / €219.99. Under normal circumstances, that would earn you 1,600 LEGO Insiders points. During this promotion, however, you'll receive 3,200 points instead.
You can put those extra points towards a discount on a future LEGO.com order or redeem them for rewards, such as the new 900-point Space Arcade Poster, released to celebrate the launch of 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine.
In our review of 11378 Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner, we called it a near-excellent build with an outstanding display presence, although we felt the price was a little steep. Double points help soften that blow, making now an ideal time to pick it up if you've been considering adding it to your collection.
The set will remain on double points until July 6, giving you a few days to decide whether to pick it up.
