LEGO Building Instructions page reveals another summer 2023 City set

Another LEGO City set being added to the upcoming summer 2023 range has been revealed thanks to the official Building Instructions page.

60378 Arctic Explorer Vehicle and Mobile Lab is a part of the Arctic sub-theme in the summer City wave and should tie in nicely with the previously-revealed sets. According to a recent rumour, this model looks likely to release on June 1, 2023, and include 489 pieces. The build is currently said to be priced at $79.99, although that’s yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group.

The LEGO City set features an eye-catching orange, white, and light blue colour scheme and includes an exploratory vehicle with large treads, plus a lab on skis that can be connected to the main vehicle. The most notable inclusion though are the polar bear and two cubs. The former is a rare LEGO animal, last seen in 2018 and only appearing in three sets total, while the cubs are all-new elements for the summer 2023 range.

It’s not yet known if the inclusion of the rare animal figure will raise the price of this upcoming set, but it’ll still be a great way for collectors to get their hands on the polar bear. The whole summer City Arctic sub-theme is shaping up to be great for LEGO animal collectors, with the introduction of seals, orcas, lots of sharks and many other undersea creatures.
