Double LEGO VIP points on select themes rumoured for mid-July

Five days of double LEGO VIP points are coming this July, but the extra rewards are only valid on a few themes.

If you’re looking to get the most out of your LEGO purchases, you’ll be happy to hear the latest rumour from Brick Clicker on Instagram and YouTube. The report suggests that from July 11-15, the LEGO Group will offer double VIP points on all Harry Potter, City, Friends, and Technic purchases.

This double points period lines up precisely with other rumoured promotions also reported by Brick Clicker. He suggests that in the same July 11-15 period, 40512 Fun & Funky VIP Pack will be available at a £45 / $50 threshold, as well as both 40580 Blacktron Cruiser and 40581 BIONICLE Tahu and Takua at a £200 / $220 threshold.

If you’ve been eyeing any big sets from City, Friends, Technic, or Harry Potter, it’s looking like this mid-July week is going to be the perfect time to get the biggest bang for your buck. Unfortunately, none of the new sets releasing in July fall into any of these themes – but there are still the huge City, Friends, and Harry Potter lineups just released at the beginning of June.

If you’re still wondering which sets to get in order to get some of those sweet VIP points, we have a few suggestions. It’s looking like the perfect time to pick up the beautifully-designed 41757 Botanical Garden or the ambitious 60380 Downtown from Friends and City, respectively. 42157 John Deere 948L-II Skidder takes Technic fans almost all the way to the highest gift-with-purchase threshold, and you can always round out your purchase with some Harry Potter BrickHeadz.
