Eight of the best LEGO foil packs for army-building

Brick Deals‘ notable foil pack offer is still on, offering discounts when you buy more minifigures, and this is an amazing opportunity for army-builders.

At the time writing over on Brick Deals, when you buy more foil packs, you save more on your purchase. You can score 5% off when you buy five, 10% off when you buy 10 and 15% off when you purchase 15. While this is useful for catching up on LEGO foil packs overall, it’s especially useful for army-building minifigures.

Here are eight of the best LEGO foil packs for army-building in Brick Deals’ current sale for NINJAGO, Nexo Knights and fans of overall fantasy themes.

The Sons of Garmadon

The Sons of Garmadon’s foot soldiers may not have any magic or special abilities, but they still ended up being one of the biggest threats to all of NINJAGO and nearly defeated the ninjas for good. Three members of the Sons of Garmadon are available now via foil packs on Brick DealsSawyer, Scooter and Buffer – and the generic designs mean they’re easily customisable for more bikers in the gang.

Beyond NINJAGO, they might even be useful as members of a large biker gang in your LEGO modular city, roaming the streets either with good intentions or bad, depending on your preference.

Globlins

LEGO Nexo Knights may be gone, but you can still army-build its Globlin figures via Brick Deals with a two-pack available now for £4.95. While the heroes of this retired theme are kitted out in high-tech medieval-styled fear, the monsters are considerably more rooted in fantasy.

For those wanting to fill out a Dungeons & Dragons or high-fantasy LEGO Castle display, these Globlin foil packs may be worth picking up while they’re in stock.

The Claws of Imperium

The antagonistic faction of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising Season 1 and continuing to the most recent series can be army-built too using foil packs available at Brick Deals. The retailer is stocking packs of the Imperium Claw Hunter and Imperium Guard for £6.10 and $5.95, respectively.

As well as the exclusive pieces each minifigure uses, the unique printing these minifigures feature makes them stand out compared to every other LEGO NINJAGO enemy faction and their continued relevance in the series helps them be more tempting to army-build.

Wolf Mask Warriors

Ras and the Forbidden Five’s Wolf Mask Warriors have proven to be an especially difficult group for the heroes of NINJAGO to deal with. While they’re scattered across recent NINJAGO sets, not many are packed into the builds, which makes them expensive to army-build outside of a single small set.

Thankfully, Brick Deals has the most iconic (and canon) Wolf Mask Warrior minifigure in stock at the time of writing for £5.95. With the Forbidden Five featuring heavily in the next season of NINJAGO, their army will be perfect to accompany them in your collection.

Vengestone Warriors

Crystalized’s Vengestone Warrior minifigures are one of the most interesting enemy factions visually in NINJAGO’s history. Their many transparent elements and a trio of exclusive elements mean it’s worth picking up at least one of them. Brick Deals has them in stock now for £4.95 each.

They’re easy to army-build with their identical designs – even though they’ve been defeated in the current NINJAGO narrative. They don’t have anything NINJAGO-specific to their appearance, though, and might be good earth-based enemies in other fantasy displays.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
