Exclusive LEGO Batman set coming on September 19

Warner Bros. and DC Comics have anounced that Batman Day will take place on September 19 and there will be a new exclusive LEGO Batman set announced.

Batman Day is an opportunity for Warner Bros. and DC Comics to market the Dark Knight like no other day of the year, with the date announced for this year’s big push as September 19. Details shared by Batman News reveal that, among other merchandise, an exclusive LEGO Batman set will launch on that day.

While it’s sooner than expected, the new set could be the rumoured 76161 1989 Batwing, based on the vehicle as seen in Tim Burton’s first Batman movie. Little information is available yet about the set, but is expected to use the canopy piece from 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport.

Three new sets recently launched based on the character – 76158 Batboat The Penguin Pursuit! (review), 76159 Joker’s Trike Chase and 76160 Mobile Bat Base (review). Fans in the US can get 77906 Wonder Woman, originally planned as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive.
