Exclusive Riddler minifigure coming to LEGO Batman magazine
A technically exclusive Riddler minifigure is coming to a future issue of the LEGO Batman magazine, offering a ‘what if’ scenario for 76300 Arkham Asylum…
Specifically: what if more of that LEGO DC set’s villains were dressed in Arkham fatigues? That’s because the Riddler minifigure coming to the LEGO Batman magazine (as revealed by bricky_news on Instagram) is wearing the same orange jumpsuit as the likes of Scarecrow, Bane and Harley Quinn – while in 76300 Arkham Asylum he’s in his full green suit.

While that technically makes this an exclusive variant of the Riddler, it’s not the most exciting. The Arkham jumpsuit is coming to the mag via Bane, so anyone wanting to stock up on those torsos and legs for other Bat-villains will already have the chance. If you were hoping to bag Riddler’s regular suit via the magazine, you’re out of luck.
Riddler also arrives with a smaller build than Bane, but it’s still a pretty good one: the puzzler is equipped with a helicopter backpack, making smart use of a bright green neck bracket that’s previously appeared across LEGO City space sets. And while he’s a mishmash of other parts, this will be the third villain from 76300 Arkham Asylum to grace the cover of the official LEGO Batman magazine.

As well as Bane – who’s coming sans Venom storage tank but with a cell wall build – we’ve also seen Mr. Freeze pulled from the clutches of the DC modular building and inserted into a cover-mounted paper bag. Will more Arkham minifigures follow? It remains to be seen, but we’re holding out hope for Poison Ivy in particular…

There’s no word yet on when exactly Riddler will be on shelves, but we’ll give you a heads-up as soon as we spot him. We’re still waiting on Bane in the UK, so it might be a little while yet.
76300 Arkham Asylum is available now, and has recently received an extension to its planned retirement date.
