This extra-long LEGO Star Wars 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama looks impressive

The online LEGO Star Wars community has upgraded 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama and worked out how much the full trench would cost.

User Jdubya815 on the LEGO Star Wars subreddit shared their version of 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama using two copies of the set and an additional miniature Millennium Falcon. It makes for a more impressive and lengthy display than usual, though the discussion it leads to is especially interesting.

Here’s a quick comparison of how one copy of 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama stands up to the extra-long version created by Jdubya815.

In the comments of the post, ebbuilds313 works out that to make a full circular trench, positioning 360 copies of 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama at one-degree angles, you’d need a diameter of two and a half metres in space as well as $21,596.40.

Whether this equation will be of any use to anyone will depend on someone who has the space and money to dedicate to such a project. Either way, the expanded version uses two copies of 75329 Death Star Trench Run Diorama and space out the ships across the diorama.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
