First images of LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village spotted online

An early listing from a third-party retailer offers our first high-quality look at LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village.

Thanks to an early listing from a French retailer, we’ve got our first clear look at LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village, now confirmed by the same listing to be on its way from October 1. The European price is listed as €139.99, in line with earlier rumours from brick_clicker shared via falconbrickstudios of a price tag around $130. The piece count has also been confirmed 2,103, putting it pretty close to the original fan design from BrickHammer, which estimated around 2,100 pieces.

Most importantly, we’ve got plenty of images showing the Viking-themed set from every angle, showing off a design that’s reminiscent of the long-dormant LEGO Vikings theme. Tan and brown elements are used to create wooden buildings that populate the village, surrounded by blue-plated oceans. Four minifigures are also included in the set, each with their own suitable weapons and tools that a blacksmith, chieftain, warrior and archer would need, as well as what appear to be printed shields with personalised designs.

The 18+ set comes in three sections which appear to be suitable to display separately or as one connected model. The buildable areas include a forge, a longhouse and a watchtower. The blacksmith’s forge has its own flame function for extra display possibilities, while the interiors (which can be revealed through lift-away rooves) feature a brick-built chief’s throne and various other Viking-themed accessories. There’s also a rope bridge to the watchtower and an underground cave for the extraction of materials for the blacksmith.

While the LEGO Group has not yet confirmed the details of LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village officially, this retailer listing all but confirms many of the previously rumoured details. With an expected release date of October 1, we can likely expect an official reveal from the LEGO Group in the coming weeks.
