First LEGO 2024 set appears on instructions database

The first 2024 LEGO set has now surfaced on LEGO.com, confirming at least one model almost a year in advance.

Available now on the official instructions database is set 71481, listed with a 2024 release year. With no theme attached, this appears to be an early listing for an upcoming set, though its not the first time that this happened.

In April 2022, listings for 10 sets surfaced on the instructions database with some of those now fully revealed and others since removed from the online resource. These included some from Minecraft, Star Wars, BrickHeadz and Creator.

While there is no theme attached to the 71481 entry, that series of numbers is one usually saved for LEGO Super Mario with the closest set number before it being 71419 Peach’s Garden Balloon Ride. Due to this listing appearing so early and the few details currently available, there’s no way to tell what theme the set could be for but it confirms that at least one set is coming in 2024.

This seems likely to be an error and the listing may be removed following this report unless the LEGO Group is preparing for some 2024 set reveals so soon.
