First look at Marvel’s Hawkeye series shows possible LEGO minifigures

The first picture from the set of the upcoming Marvel Hawkeye series on Disney+ has been revealed, showcasing the potential designs for what could be future minifigures.

Marvel’s official website has now showcased an official look at Hawkeye – one of the many upcoming superhero series as part of the ongoing story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that starts streaming later this year.

The titular hero is pictured on the right, training his successor, Kate Bishop, who can be seen on the left, favoured weapon in hand ready to practice the art of archery. Whilst the pair are wearing casual attire in the screenshot, it may be that they will receive suits that resemble their comic appearances as part of the show.

It should be stated that nothing more is currently known for LEGO Marvel beyond 71031 Marvel Studios, but the theme has recently featured at least partial representation for all four series that have streamed so far on Disney+ (in the Collectible Minifigures alone no less). Therefore, minifigures or even a set based on Hawkeye could be likely in the future.

Assuming that the LEGO Group wishes to represent Hawkeye, it’s easy to imagine these two characters depicted as minifigures, especially with Kate never receiving a brick-built character before. Their hideout might also serve as a good LEGO backdrop for a set similar to the new 76200 Bro Thor’s New Asgard.

With Hawkeye releasing November 24, we might not have long to wait until we see if the show is part of the LEGO Group’s future Marvel plans. Alternatively, with such a vast amount of superhero shows releasing in 2021, it may be that the duo is saved for further down the road. We’ll update you when we know more.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
