First rumoured LEGO Despicable Me 4 set name revealed
The name of an upcoming LEGO Despicable Me 4 set may have been revealed, giving fans an idea of what to expect from one of the rumoured builds.
Following previous listings regarding four potential models that might have expanded the LEGO Avatar range sequentially, a report this week instead suggested the upcoming codenamed ‘Orange’ builds would in fact be based around Despicable Me 4. The animated movie from Illumination is due to hit cinema screens in July 2024 and will continue the misadventures of former supervillain, Gru, and his many yellow-skinned Minions.
Now comes word regarding one of the rumoured LEGO Despicable Me 4 sets, potentially revealing what the name of the model might in fact be. Instagram user exabrickslegogo has stated that 75583 Gru’s House will be arriving in May 2024 with 868 pieces for $99.99.
The iconic location is the super-secret lair of the Anti-Villain League agent and includes multiple death traps and Gru’s lab hidden underneath. We might therefore be looking at a detailed multi-level build featuring a number of unique rooms, although that’s pure speculation on our part for now. If the latest rumour proves to be true, 75583 Gru’s House could be the largest of the LEGO Despicable Me 4 models to arrive this year as part of what might be an initial wave of builds based around the movie sequel.
There’s been no official word yet regarding the existence of any LEGO Despicable Me 4 sets for 2024, so do take this new information with a large dose of salt for now.
