Five things you can do with the Brick Search app

Brick Search is more than just a database of LEGO sets – there are some innovative features and useful tools to improve your LEGO collecting experience.

Keeping track of an ever-growing LEGO collection is no small feat. Luckily, Brick Search offers a way to do that, as well as a ton of other features, from tracking future purchases to discovering more from your favourite themes.

Available on both Android and iOS, Brick Search is the ideal LEGO cataloguing app that keeps your entire LEGO collection with you at all times. Read on to learn more about what the app can do for you and your LEGO collecting experience.

5 – Build your LEGO collection on the go

For the first time, you can have your entire LEGO collection on your phone and take it with you wherever you go. All you need to do is search for your sets or simply scan the barcode on the box of a new purchase (more on that later) to bring up the product page of the model. Click ‘Collection’ and the set will instantly be saved for you to come back to later.

4 – Find building instructions for all your LEGO

Moving is always stressful, but no less so than when you’ve got a mighty LEGO collection to transport as well. Whether you’re moving house or rebuilding some treasured older sets, you no longer have to keep stacks of building instructions lying around. From the bottom of any product page, you can download the instructions of the set in question. Say goodbye to dusty piles of booklets and say hello to a smooth, stress-free experience (trust us on this).

3 – Create a wishlist for your dream LEGO sets

Of course, no matter how big your LEGO collection grows, there’s always going to be another set (or two, or a dozen) that catches your eye. Make sure you never miss a dream set with your easy-to-access wishlist, nestled next to your existing collection. Once again, you can either search for an app or scan a barcode while browsing in shops to add a set to your wishlist.

2 – Discover and rediscover all things LEGO

It’s estimated that over 19,000 LEGO sets and related items have been released by the LEGO Group over the decades. That’s a lot to take in – and means there’s always more to explore.

The Explore tab is the perfect place to explore the biggest sets, new releases, or filter by theme, year, and more characteristics to take a trip down memory lane. Whether you want to track down your childhood sets or stay on top of the latest reveals in a busy month, the Explore tab can help you discover what you need to. Click on the videos above to see it in action.

1 – Look up LEGO sets with the barcode scanner

The barcode reader is all about being able to quickly and easily look up sets, either to add to your collection or to create a wishlist with. Whether you’ve just had a new set delivered or are browsing LEGO stores while out and about, all you need to do is scan the barcode and Brick Search will instantly bring up everything you need to know about it. Save it to your wishlist for later or check out how to buy it with a few easy clicks.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.

Is there any way to export the info to a file to import to either Bricklink or brickset?
