Four LEGO Batman summer 2024 sets revealed

An online retailer has published official images of four new LEGO Batman sets coming our way this summer, hooked to The Animated Series, The Dark Knight Rises and more.

We were initially given a first glimpse at three of these sets through early reviews from a handful of LEGO YouTubers, but the LEGO Group issued a takedown request on those videos (and subsequent screenshots) until their official reveal. German retailer Lucky Bricks has now shared official pictures of all four of the June 2024 LEGO Batman sets on Instagram.

Those include 76270 Batman Mech Armor, 76273 Batman Construction Figure and the Bat-Pod Bike, 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze, and the previously-unrevealed 76272 The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker. Check out the first official images of all four sets below, which thankfully look a bit more interesting than their uninspired product names.

76270 Batman Mech Armor

Price: $14.99 Pieces: 140 Release date: June 1, 2024

Everyone’s getting a mini mech suit these days, so it was only really a matter of time before the LEGO Group cooked one up for the Caped Crusader. 76270 Batman Mech Armor includes a boilerplate Batman minifigure with a black, grey and yellow mech. It’s essentially what you’d expect from a set like this, so no surprises here.

76272 The Batcave with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker

Price: $39.99 Pieces: 180 Release date: June 1, 2024

This 4+ set looks to be inspired by generic Batman comics rather than any one specific source material, which means 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City’s Joker will remain exclusive to that set for now (while Harley returns in a Batmobile further down). The Joker included alongside Batman and Batgirl here does look to have a new torso, though.

76273 Batman Construction Figure and the Bat-Pod Bike

Price: $69.99 Pieces: 713 Release date: June 1, 2024

The LEGO Group is returning to Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy with 76273 Batman Construction Figure and the Bat-Pod Bike, although The Dark Knight Rises branding is curiously absent from the packaging. It’s not the first time we’ve seen the Super Heroes theme branch out with buildable figures – see 76289 Thor vs. Surtur Construction Figure – and the bike looks pretty good.

76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze

Price: $59.99 Pieces: 435 Release date: June 1, 2024

Based on Batman: The Animated Series, the latest LEGO Batmobile swaps out black for dark blue, breaking the mould for the Dark Knight’s LEGO colour palette. Harley Quinn returns from 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City, while we get a brand new Batman with rubber cape and a brand new Mr. Freeze inspired by his animated appearance.

All four of these sets will likely launch on June 1 in the UK and Europe, but you might have to wait until August to pick them up across the pond. Keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for confirmation of their prices and release dates as soon as we have them.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
