Free LEGO Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 tile available at fan event

Some lucky fans who attended Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 over the weekend were able to pick up an exclusive free LEGO Star Wars tile.

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 is heading into its final day, with this year’s event drawing fans from all over the world to the show’s ExCel London location. Those who managed to attend over the last few days were witness to all sorts of surprises announcements and exclusive reveals, many of which set up the future of the Star Wars franchise.

The LEGO Group has also been in attendance at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, with booth N320 offering visitors early access to 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes, as well as the chance to win a rare platinum R2-D2 figure valued at over $30,000. The company’s busy weekend schedule also included a reveal of the recent Return of the Jedi 40th anniversary diorama sets, a Q&A with the designers of the models, a spotlight on 75355 X-wing Starfighter and more events.

Those who made their way to the LEGO Group’s booth could also pick up a little something extra with their purchases. Instagram user exabrickslegogo posted some details on the freebie, with a LEGO Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 printed tile available with spends of £40 or more at the stand. Similar promotional tiles have been given away at other events, such as the opening of LEGO Stores, but a Star Wars-branded piece is sure to be much-sought after by collectors.

A comment in the Instagram post suggests the LEGO Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 tile was limited to only 3,000 such items on Friday, although it’s probably still worth those attending today popping down to booth N320 on the off-chance that more might be made available.
