Game of Thrones actor to replace Ray Stevenson in Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2
Disney is reportedly replacing the late Ray Stevenson in the second series of Star Wars: Ahsoka, opening the door for Baylan Skoll to return.
Stevenson portrayed former Jedi Baylan Skoll in the first season of the Disney+ show, but passed away three months before the series debuted on the streaming service. The Hollywood Reporter now claims that Rory McCann – best known for his role as The Hound in Game of Thrones, as well as his small but memorable part in Hot Fuzz – will step into Stevenson’s shoes for the upcoming second season.
Dave Filoni is returning as showrunner of Ahsoka Season 2, but little else is known about the production so far – including who will be in the director’s chair for each episode and even when it will begin filming. Rosario Dawson will presumably return in the title role, while we can likely expect to see Ivanna Sakhno back as Shin Hati, Skoll’s apprentice.

All of those characters were covered in LEGO form in the initial wave of Star Wars: Ahsoka sets, although Skoll and Hati are no longer available at retail following the swift retirement of 75364 New Republic E-wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter. If the LEGO Group gives the same attention to Season 2 as Season 1, it would be little surprise to see both characters return to the fold – whenever that may be.

The other three LEGO Ahsoka sets – 75357 Ghost & Phantom II, 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea – are all available to buy now.
