Last chance for LEGO double VIP points in June 2022

There’s only a few hours left to take advantage of the LEGO Group’s latest double VIP points promo, which is timed perfectly to score an effective early discount on upcoming sets.

A handful of products launching in August are currently available to pre-order at LEGO.com, and happily they all qualify for double VIP points right now. That works out to 10% cashback in points to spend on future purchases and exclusive rewards, which is really as good a discount as you’ll find on a LEGO set on the day of release.

However, the current double VIP points event ends today, June 30, which means time is very rapidly running out to take the plunge on those pre-orders. Highlights include 75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe, 75335 BD-1, 10497 Galaxy Explorer and 76223 Nano Gauntlet, although the latter two are currently only available to pre-order in the US.

There’s plenty already available with immediate delivery, too, including the brand new 21334 Jazz Quartet (currently in VIP early access), and recent releases like 10302 Optimus Prime and 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3. Double VIP points on those sets is pretty tempting given how new they are, and how much you’ll rack up in return.

You’ll bag a cool £35 / $40 / €40 in points for picking up the Ferrari, for instance, while the LEGO Group’s first Transformers set will earn you a respectable £15 / $17 / €17 to spend on more LEGO further down the line. (Don’t kid yourself: we all know there’s going to be more LEGO down the line.)

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
