Last few days to pre-order The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks

Time is running out to secure your copy of the first officially-licensed book for adult fans of LEGO, The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks.

Published exclusively through crowdfunding platform Unbound, the deep dive into the history of LEGO elements will never be available to buy outside the current campaign, which closes to new backers on May 31. That means you’ve only got until Monday to pre-order your copy.

The book is being authored by Blocks magazine US Editor Daniel Konstanski, who recently told Brick Fanatics that he’s roughly halfway through the writing process. And he also shared an exclusive sneak peek at one of the book’s many secrets, in the form of a long-lost ‘90s theme that could have changed the way we interacted with LEGO bricks.

Click here to read more about LEGO Band Booster, which would have ultimately been Guitar Hero years before actual Guitar Hero existed. It’s just one of the surprises we can expect to learn more about in The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks, as Daniel has been granted unprecedented access to LEGO designers, executives and personnel we’ve never heard from before.

Head over to Unbound to back the book while you still can. Beyond Monday, you won’t be able to buy it anywhere else.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
