LEGO 31129 Majestic Tiger isn’t just anatomically correct – it’s also pretty morbid
31129 Majestic Tiger isn’t just an anatomically correct rendition of the apex predator – it’s also a pretty morbid LEGO set.
Renowned throughout the LEGO community for the pink flower piece used to represent its backside, last year’s 31129 Majestic Tiger is easily one of the best LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets to date. It’s the largest single animal build the theme has ever put out (reflective of the tiger’s status as the largest living cat species), and offers great value even at RRP.
But as one canny redditor has now discovered, roughly a year after the set originally landed on shelves, it also has the potential to be pretty macabre. That’s because the tiger’s stomach has space for an entire LEGO minifigure, as portrayed below by Cybertronian_Grizzly, who picked out an especially morbid minifigure to demonstrate their discovery.
Yep, that’s a skeleton in the belly of the beast. The redditor commented that they ‘like to think it was intentional’ on the part of the set’s designer, George Gilliatt, rather than just an amusing coincidence. And given the attention to detail around the rear end of 31129 Majestic Tiger, it’s an assumption we can absolutely see being true.
31129 Majestic Tiger is available now from LEGO.com for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99, but you might be able to find a better price for it elsewhere. Check out the list below for current prices from across the web, and don’t forget to keep an eye on our LEGO deals hub for all the latest LEGO savings.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
