LEGO 40359 LEGO Store Picture Frame set coming soon

A new LEGO Store exclusive set for displaying photographs, 40359 LEGO Store Picture Frame, is already available in selected countries and is expected to be available worldwide soon.

What better way to display a family photo than with a picture frame that celebrates retail? A new exclusive LEGO set, 40359 LEGO Store Picture Frame, has been discovered by the LEGO cataloguing experts at Brickset. The set is already available to buy at shop.LEGO.com at select countries including France and Germany, but not yet the UK or USA.

The 170 piece set retails for €14.99 and contains 170 pieces. Despite the format of the set limiting it to hinting at a LEGO Store, it manages to include references to the Build-a-Minifigure station, Pick-and-Build wall, checkout, giant 2×4 brick and model displays. A LEGO Store employee minifigure is included.

It is revealed on the back of the box that the product is perhaps not quite as cynical as it first appears – stickers are included with the names of different capital cities, suggesting that this is intended as a souvenir for fans visiting a far flung LEGO Store, for them to put a special snap from a flagship store in.
