LEGO 40527 Easter Chicks GWP returns as VIP member reward

A new promotional item has been added to the LEGO VIP Rewards Centre in the shape of last year’s 40527 Easter Chicks GWP.

This year’s LEGO Easter GWP offers are currently still available online and in official stores by hitting specific spending thresholds. 30643 Easter Chickens is free with all orders above £35 / $40 / €40 until March 31, while 40587 Easter Basket is free with purchases above £65 / $70 / €70 through to April 9.

The LEGO Group offered up two free promotional GWP sets for Easter 2022, with both 40527 Easter Chicks and 30583 Easter Bunny up for grabs. Now the former is back via the VIP Rewards Centre for those who have enough accumulated points in their digital wallets. The 318-piece model was previously branded as a limited-edition set, although it’s not known at this stage if the returning build will feature the exact same packaging.

40527 Easter Chicks features a colourful brick-built egg that splits in half, allowing one of the two included Easter chicks to sit inside. Additional pieces that come with the set allow for a surprising degree of customisation and decorative options. The model is available now from the LEGO VIP Rewards Centre for 1,500 points, although with Easter weekend looming on the horizon there’s no way of knowing how long it will stick around for.
