LEGO 40683 Flower Trellis Display officially revealed

A fresh product listing for 40683 Flower Trellis Display has bloomed at LEGO.com, giving us a first look at a gift-with-purchase that’s believed to arrive as early as next week.

LEGO.com Singapore has published images of 40683 Flower Trellis Display, a 440-piece set that’s explicitly labelled as a gift-with-purchase. Sitting adjacent to the Botanical Collection in the same way as last year’s 40588 Flowerpot, the model includes a trellis with wicker detailing and a variety of spring blooms in attractive pastel colours.

The finished product can be displayed hung on a wall or freestanding, so you’ve got more options than is standard for a Botanical Collection set. And you might not have to wait too long to get your hands on it: itavixbrix reports (via Brick Clicker) that 40683 Flower Trellis Display will be free with orders above £130 / $150 on anything and everything at LEGO.com from April 1 to 14 (or while stocks last).

It’s one of three gifts-with-purchase confirmed or rumoured to be available in April, alongside the Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Dice Box – free exclusively with 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale from April 1 to 7 – and 40681 Retro Food Truck, which is said to be returning from April 1 while stocks last, but only with purchases of the three most recent modular buildings.

We’ll likely only discover the exact details of both 40683 Flower Trellis Display and 40681 Retro Food Truck’s April availability once they’re live, but LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Australia suggests the plant-based set will be free with orders above $240 AUD from April 1 to 16 down under.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
