LEGO Black Friday 2020 GWP returns in the UK and Europe

Last year’s LEGO Black Friday gift-with-purchase is available once again ahead of LEGO VIP Weekend, but it won’t be around for long.

40410 Charles Dickens Tribute originally launched for last year’s LEGO VIP Weekend, which offers exclusive early access to the LEGO Group’s Black Friday deals for VIP members. The buildable vignette then returned as promised for Black Friday 2020, free with all purchases of at least £150 / $150 / €150.

It’s now available online yet again in the UK and Europe, with exactly the same price threshold as before. That’s a full £20 / €20 less than this year’s newly-revealed gift-with-purchase, 40484 Santa’s Front Yard, which will launch first and foremost for LEGO VIP Weekend 2021 (November 20 to 21).

The 333-piece promo – which also includes minifigures of Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge – is exclusive to LEGO.com (so can’t be picked up in-store), and only from today through Friday, November 19, or while stocks last. That means it won’t run into this year’s LEGO VIP Weekend event, so no doubling up with 40484 Santa’s Front Yard.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
