An unofficial LEGO brick-themed pop-up bar will be coming to US cities starting in March 2022, with activities for adults and children alike.
The Brick Bar concept was previously rolled out in the UK back in 2018 with a venue opening for five evenings in Shoreditch, London. In 2022 Brick Bars will be set up at secret locations in a number of US cities, allowing people to have plenty of LEGO-based fun with friends and family. Children can attend before 6pm and after that it’ll just be those over the age of 21 who’ll get to enjoy themselves.
Each Brick Bar is built from over 1 million LEGO pieces, plus there will be LEGO sculptures and sets for visitors to construct. Anyone buying tickets for the event can also look forward to building competitions and a ping pong table made from more than 22,000 LEGO bricks.
Local DJs will be spinning tunes and a bar service will cater for those in need of refreshments (brick burger, anyone?). Reservations for the Brick Bar are on a first-come-first-served basis, with the experience lasting around 90-minutes for each attendee. Tickets are on sale now for $22 per person and the first event kicks off in Austin, Texas from 4-5 March. Additional Brick Bars will open up in Denver, Indianapolis and San Francisco through the same month.
