Next LEGO Build a Minifigure packs could be perfect for 71799 NINJAGO City Markets

The next LEGO Build a Minifigure selection might be based on NINJAGO, perfect for 71799 NINJAGO City Markets, as well as a rumoured set.

Brick_clicker reports that the next LEGO Build a Minifigure packs will be based on NINJAGO, just in time for the new Dragons Rising sets. LEGO Build a Minifigure consists of packs of pre-built minifigures, usually three per pack, sometimes with a theme and sometimes featuring desirable pieces with exclusive designs. These are said to arrive in LEGO stores from June 1, 2023

According to the new rumour, Nya, Lloyd and Kai will be featured in their Core costumes as well as a Core dojo student, likely the designs from 71787 Creative Ninja Brick Box.

More exciting could be the rumour that the June selection will include Arin and Sora in casual outfits, different from what they wear in 71799 NINJAGO City Markets but with the same hair and faces. These could be good to populate the new model further or as an alternative for those who don’t plan on purchasing the set.

Also rumoured is a female football player for the Women’s World Cup that starts in July. This is said to include an existing hair piece in a new colour and a new torso and legs. This could also tie in with the rumoured 40634 Icons of Play, which is also reported to be based on women’s football with similar minifigures.

The LEGO Group has yet to confirm these rumours, but we may know more in just over a week when the new month starts.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
