LEGO Build a Minifigure gives its minifigures a festive makeover

The LEGO Group’s Build a Minifigure offering has switched up its accessories to suit the season, ranging from the fantastical to the practical.

Build a Minifigure is the ideal spot to get hold of minifigure accessories, new parts, and seasonal elements. Most official LEGO stores will have Build a Minifigure walls, stacked full of minifigure parts and pieces. With Christmas just around the corner, festive accessories and parts are starting to appear in stores, revealing what’s ahead for our LEGO minifigures.

The first option is, of course, Santa himself, advertised with a teddy bear as his accessory. His face is printed with his customary white beard, topped off with a red and white fluffy hat. Elsewhere in the world of magic, there’s also what appears to be a wintry fair, complete with a pastel pink high bun, big red glasses, and a truly enormous snowflake as her accessory. Her torso and skirt match to create a blue, snowflake-dotted outfit, in keeping with the season.

Last but not least, the snowy fairy is likely bringing some snow with her, so it’s good that one minifigure will be prepared. Equipped with a tiny shovel and protected under a fluffy, ear-covering hat, he’s ready to be out on the roads, digging out cars and freeing up people’s driveways and pavements.

You can buy these minifigures complete, usually in three-piece blister packs, or find all of the accessories and parts used to make them individually in the Build a Minifigure section in LEGO stores. Happy hunting!

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
