LEGO Classic Castle Wolfpack faction begins its comeback in 2025
The Wolfpack faction looks to be making a comeback starting in 2025, with a LEGO Classic Castle minifigure in 71048 Series 27 sure to please fans of the theme.
We got our first look at LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71048 Series 27 today, thanks to a listing from a US LEGO reseller. Launching in 2025 will be an all-new selection of 12 different characters to collect, although an exact release date and pricing has yet to be officially announced.
While there are certainly many tempting minifigures in 71048 Series 27’s line-up, it’s fans of the Classic Castle theme that will have plenty of reasons to get excited about next year. For starters, the Wolfpack Beastmaster is highly likely to be a much sought after character, one that will no doubt be extremely popular within the minifigure collecting community.

From the initial images of 71048 Series 27 released so far, it looks as if the Wolfpack Beastmaster minifigure may utilise a new torso print, one that’s different from the Wolfpack torso piece currently in stock at Pick a Brick and also included in 10332 Medieval Town Square.

In addition, Wolfpack Beastmaster also appears to have a new printed head and legs, plus an updated shield design, along with a tattered black cloak that’s similar to that worn by the Ringwraith minifigure in 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast. The character is rounded out by a new and impressive animal companion element in the shape of an imposing grey wolf.
As well as the inclusion of the Wolfpack Beastmaster minifigure in 71048 Series 27, the Classic Castle faction will also be back in force as part of the final LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 line-up.

Five sets were recently revealed to be coming in March 2026, with Outlaw Forest Den by BrickHammer populated with multiple Wolfpack minifigures. The 2,452-piece set is likely to be one of the first LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 6 models to sell out when crowdfunding opens for the model sometime in October 2025.
