LEGO Christmas Advent Calendars 2019: December 1
What is behind the first door of the LEGO Star Wars, Harry Potter, City and Friends advent calendars?
Each year the LEGO Group releases a selection of advent calendars to count down the days until Christmas with a small build behind every window. While Star Wars, City and Friends are all back this year, Harry Potter has been introduced to the festive countdown collection for the first time.
Day 1
In the Star Wars advent calendar today, the mini version of the First Order Star Destroyer is significantly smaller than 75190, the minifigure sized version of the set that was released a few years ago.
Harry Potter is very appropriate, as he is wearing his festive jumper with a huge ‘H’ on, as he did in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. It is the only one of the four calendars to kick off with a minifigure.
City begins with a little vehicle, providing a small snow plough that has space for a minifigure to ride upon. Rugged wheels should be able to manage through the snow.
Going for an overtly festive theme, Friends features a heart shaped ornament with space to put some thread and hang it over a Christmas tree branch.
Check back every day to see what is behind the door of each of the four LEGO Advent Calendars.
