This LEGO City 2023 set presents amazing minifigures, but they’re not included

LEGO City 60388 Gaming Tournament Truck is an unusual entry in the theme, presenting amazing minifigures, though some of them aren’t included. 

With early reviews of the LEGO City models arriving online, a better look at 60388 Gaming Tournament Truck is here via Bricks By Mind, giving us a view of angles of the model not featured in official images.

Launching on January 1, 2023, the monitors on each of the swivelling setups feature a sticker for the gameplay, including the hands and weapons of each player’s respective character. 

These characters appear as minifigures on the giant screen in the background, but they’re nowhere to be found in physical form since they’re from a video game. They can be moved on the screen by opening the other side of the truck to reveal the manual controls with four panels that can slide around to move the health bars and each character.

The included minifigures represent the tournament host, a member of the audience and the two players, with printed details on the back of their shorts and a pair of alternate faces too.
