LEGO CITY’s newest police station includes a mess

60316 Police Station is one of the newest additions to LEGO CITY, but the modular build may be missing plumbing for prisoners.

The most recent LEGO CITY police station model includes the usual assortment of features including a reception, helipad and jail cell. However, a pair of pieces may have revealed that 60316 Police Station is missing a key component.

As evidenced in the online instructions for 60316 Police Station, a brown and transparent yellow brick placed beside the bed in the cell area suggest that the room is without a few pipes connecting to the toilet featured in the cell. 41429 Heartlake City Airplane featured a similar reference but covered up the secret with the rest of the build.

Without going into too much detail, the elements may be representative of a subject which could be considered inappropriate in a LEGO set. This wouldn’t be the first time that a few bricks potentially included a taboo topic within an official model as 76200 Bro Thor’s New Asgard also featured transparent yellow pieces, though likely for a different reason.

LEGO designers have been known to hide references within a larger model using a select number of bricks before, with one of the most recent examples being the realistic and anatomically correct 31129 Majestic Tiger that encouraged a response from the designer.

The first 2022 range of LEGO CITY sets are available now on the official online store and in physical locations, including 60316 Police Station.

This is completely false. The set has a toilet over the brown and yellow studs and break-out of jail feature where a wall connected to the toilet breaks down to allow escape, which would damage the attached toilet and cause ITS PLUMBING to rupture and reveal the urine and poop suggestion. While the plumbing itself is not brick built, it is suggested as the result of breaking down the wall that has a toilet near it.

The article title and mentions of missing plumbing are incorrect. There’s clearly a toilet in the cell block and even show on the boxart. The yellow/brown pieces are indictions of damaged plumbing due to the cell wall being ripped out.

The article title and first line are a bit misleading as there is clearly a toilet in the cell. This is even shown on the boxart. The yellow/brown pieces are signs of busted pipes due to the wall being ripped out.
